DESCRIPTION:
The purchase and sales agreement (PSA) is between two parties, the Seller and the Buyer. In the PSA, you will be signing as if you were purchasing the property and will have an assignability clause that allows you to assign your equitable interest in that contract.
This is where the 2nd contract comes into play. The assignment of contract, which is between the "Assignor" and the "Assignee", in this contract, you will be represented as the assignor and your assigning your interest to the buyer who will be closing on the real estate transaction.
